Placement

What is a placement?#

A placement is a location in your app where ads are shown. For example Home Screen or Post Ride Screeen
These locations can also be strategically grouped into one placement to form a journey ad, creating immerisve advertising experiences across the user's flow.
A journey ad is an ad that spans a user's entire app flow/journey.

Creating a placement#

Key
Unique identifier for the placement. This will be used when requesting an ad. Eg: "home_screen"

Pricing
Define pricing (CPM / CPC) for the placement. Different placements may command higher/lower prices due to their location, traffic etc.
Pricing can be overridden when creating an ad.
For example, if the default pricing is based solely on impressions (CPM), but an advertiser wants to negotiate a deal including clicks (CPC).

Terminology
CPM: cost per 1,000 impressions.
CPC: cost per click.
